Ubud in uplands of Bali is known for its landscapes and traditional crafts and dance. However, the town also has an abundance of luxury resorts and fine dining restaurants. One of these is Cascade – a gourmet restaurant perched atop the luscious Valley of the Kings.
The restaurant meticulously serves up traditional Indonesian dishes alongside Western ones such as retouched beef carpaccio and bold dishes like Lemongrass Creme Brulee – we have yet to meet a person who doesn’t like creme brulee and blend this with Lemon (a typical ingredient in the SEA kitchen) and you have a winner!
The restaurant, although not as “fine” as neighboring Aperitif with their Tasting Menus, does, however, have the selling of being outdoor with a view of the Ubud Jungle.
Price Range: starters from 10€ and mains starting from 15€ and goes up to 125€ for a Tomahawk
