In Bali, fine dining restaurants are a dime a dozen. If you are food enthusiast and appreciate the art of fine dining, Bali is the right place to visit. Although the island, or Indonesia in general, doesn’t have Michelin starred restaurants, it does boast an array of fine dining restaurants run by award winning chefs. One of these is Mozaic – an open kitchen concept in Ubud.

Although the interior is not fancy, the food certainly is. Contemporary food makes up the changing tasting menus with each dish impressing more than the other. Not only does the restaurant offer taste exploding food but this at a great deal as well. Currently, their 7 course tasting menu goes at 90€ per person, which is near impossible to find in Europe.

With Bali’s range of good eats it’s a wonder that the Michelin Guide hasn’t decided to enter Indonesia but this is bound to happen at sometime, so Michelin Guide: if you’re reading this, you have some work to do!
